We are pleased to announce that our DIWALI MELA event will be held at The Woodlands Hindu Temple on Oct 15th, 2022. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please fill this form and return to us at your earliest convenience.

The purpose of Diwali Mela (also known as the “Festival of Lights” fair) is to:
1. Celebrate and share one of the most popular Indian cultural festivals with our neighborhoods and
the community surrounding the Houston area.
2. Expose the community with the richness of Indian heritage and way-of-life by organizing:

a. Folk and classical dances that represent various regions of India
b. Food stalls that represent rich flavors of India
c. Fashion show that celebrates vibrant colors and materials of ethnic Indian clothing and
attire.
d. Traditional Indian jewelry, arts, crafts, and clothing
e. Fun for kids of all ages- rides, games, fireworks, etc
f. Introduction to unique service program such as yoga, language, youth and seniors
programs.
3. Kick-off the holiday season.
