Chess Camp

Dates:  Classes will be held on 6/20/26 (Saturday), 6/21/26 (Sunday). 6/27/26 (Saturday) and 6/28/26 (Sunday) from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the HTW (class room number/location will be announced later).

Age group:  Students age groups from 8 - 14 or grades level 3 - 8 are encouraged to enroll. It is expected that they have a basic understanding of the chess game (no beginners).

Note: The total enrollment will be capped at 20, and will be first come first serve basis.  Students can register starting from 5/30/26 until 6/16/26 or until the target of 20 is reached. 

Fees: The cost of registration for 4 classes is $40.  If the students don't have the United  States Chess Federation (USCF) approved chess board and pieces to bring to every class, they can order them at the time of registration for an additional $25 each. (one board is sufficient if two kids are registering from the same household).
